Depois de isto e isto, fui finalmente ver o Inception.
Grande filme.
Achei a resolução da história talvez um bocado apressada mas grande filme de qualquer forma.
E digam o que quiserem mas isto é Ficção Científica pura e dura. E da boa.
Recomendo vivamente.

Na sequência do post do outro dia, o substituto do Tobey Maguire já está escolhido.
Apesar de não ser o meu preferido dentro do leque de escolhas que tinham sido apresentadas, devo dizer que me parece bem.
Segundo o realizador,

Num misto entre o fato original da BD e de farda de soldado da II Guerra Mundial, cá fica o concept do que vamos ver no cinema.

Spider-Man director Marc Webb has collected a gang of potential Peter Parkers for his new Spidey reboot. And now that we know it’s not Percy Jackson, let’s see who’s on the short list for Columbia’s new Spidey picture.
The Hollywood Reporter has the potential casting list for Webb’s Peter Parker, and we’ve ranked them in order of our possible favorites. To be fair, we’re quite interested in each Parker candidate.

We’ve been DYING for an intelligent Area 51 movie, and who better to work on on an alien picture other than genre overlords Spielberg and Abrams? Very little is shown, but clearly there’s something be transported in an Air Force train cargo storage unit. And it seems like the entity trying to punch its way out is from Area 51. And it has friends, or why else would the truck try and derail the train — or else maybe the alien can move vehicles with its mind? Or maybe the truck was trying to kill it? We don’t know, but we’re excited!
Also clearly, Super 8 stands for the camera in the end….or does it????
Finalmente um filme a pegar no eterno tema da Área 51 e a prometer.
Depois da boa surpresa do Star Trek por parte do senhor J.J. Abrams, este deixa-me bastante expectante. E para mais, pode ser que volte a pôr o Spielberg a fazer filmes.

Numa altura em que os filmes de ficção científica se limitam a ser uma demonstração de efeitos especiais, vale apena ver como funciona a science fiction a sério, como ela é suposto ser.
Recomendo vivamente. É utilizar a “ciência” para ajudar a contar uma história que de outra forma não era possível contar.
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
22/05/2008Fui ontem à ante-estreia do novo Indiana Jones.
Sempre fui um viciado nesta mítica trilogia. Ainda não consegui foi concluir se gostei tanto deste como dos outros.
Mas acho que merece ser um Indiana Jones.

17/10/2007Não sei bem porquê, mas desde que este filme saiu, tenho sentido um chamamento para o ver. A ideia inicial parecia-me a premissa perfeita para fazer seriamente um filme a gozar.
Pois bem, ontem consegui finalmente vê-lo. Não que tenha ficado desiludido (sinceramente, nunca tive as expectativas muito altas), mas quase vale mais a pena ver estes dois vídeos, do que o filme em si.
